The Association was founded 30 years ago by people with tinnitus. Our services are free to all and we rely entirely on membership fees, donations and legacies for our funding. By becoming a member of the British Tinnitus Association you not only help others affected by tinnitus but you also give us the influence to press for better public recognition of tinnitus, more resources for treatment and research into better treatments and improved knowledge about the condition.
As a member you will receive discounted rates to attend the BTA's Counselling Training Courses, Annual Conference and Study Days. These are normally accredited by various organizations and provide professionals with valuable CPD points. Other meetings are also at reduced cost.
You will also receive our quarterly journal Quiet, which will keep you up-to-date with:
We appreciate that, whilst keen to support our work, not all members want to receive Quiet and we therefore provide the option to decline it or to have it sent to someone else who may benefit from it.
Membership is £15 per year in the UK or £20 (sterling) overseas. You can join online or, if you prefer you can contact us, by phone, post or email, for a joining form.
